MEETING MOVED AT VERY SHORT NOTICE.

When members started turning up for the August meeting of the Badge Collectors association at the Swinfen location, they were surprised to find the usual accommodation locked up and empty. It later transpired that the financial viability of the Officers Club at Swinfen was falling into doubt and that a trial period of closure lasting for one month was scheduled for August pending investigations as to the future of opening the club at night. The meeting was subsequently moved to a pub on the outskirts of Lichfield and a temporary meeting place is being used for the September meeting - which is near to Whittington Barracks in Staffordshire. This does not affect the Rockwardine meetings!
